Almost one quarter of staff receive no benefits

Almost one quarter of full-time employees receive no benefits.

The report by Clutch found that the most commonly offered benefits include paid holiday, health insurance and pension funding, yet 23% of US respondents claimed to receive no benefits from their employer at all.

“So many of us rely on our employers for these benefits,” said Mary Pharris, Director of business development and partnerships for Fairygodboss. “It’s important to have a comprehensive benefits package if you want to compete in the global workforce and attract the best talent.”

The study found that 52% of employees who aren't satisfied with their benefits want more of a benefit they already have, whilst 14% want different benefits altogether. One third said they felt indifferent about the benefits on offer in their organisation.
