Bosses give Amazon staff 7p chocolates to 'help' burnout

With Amazon under fire, as reports that workers are being pushed to exhaustion during intense 55-hour weeks are circulated, bosses decided to hand out a single Celebration chocolate to workers – Daily Mail reports.

Last week, staff claimed that colleagues were falling asleep on their feet and being taken away in ambulances as they struggled to meet warehouse targets.

The report alleged cameras monitor every move as employees try to process up to 300 items an hour, with screens reminding them if they are falling short.

And, now, the Daily Mail are reporting that bosses at the £100billion firm are handing out 7p chocolates to mitigate against fallout from the previous reports.
