UK workers spend so much of their time dedicated to the job, it’s not surprising that a few mistakes creep in along the way.
And, in a world where the lines between personal and professional spheres are increasingly blurred, it’s difficult to keep up your ‘work face’ at all times.
Coupled with increased worry about presenteeism and burnout, mistakes, however funny they might appear to be, creep into employee’s work and start to affect engagement as well as the bottom line.
Last year, research by Morgan McKinley found that the vast majority (81%) of UK employees are working beyond their contracted hours. This problem of presenteeism is estimated to be costing employers over £15billion a year.
