Hilarious SNL clip holds darker message for HRDs

HR is the beating heart of any well-ran organisation. They are the catalysts of change, the transformational hub and, more traditionally, the managers of scandal and generalised disaster.

From Weinstein to MP abuse, if the last few weeks have proven anything it’s how essential HR is all companies, across all sectors. A recent skit on US sitcom Saturday Night Live, monopolised on the current political milieu, with a character portraying an overstressed and burnout HR Director.

In the video, we see the HRD ask the host a series of questions pertaining to scenarios that HR leaders put themselves through each day. From sexual harassment, to bigotry, the HRD highlights how obvious these discrepancies are, and yet how many employees seem to transgress in the most bizarre and disgusting ways.
