Do parents affect our work ethic?

New research suggests that workers aren’t as individual as we might think – especially when it comes to their work-life balance habits – Harvard Business Review reports.

In fact, a Human Relations study has found that employees beliefs and expectations about work and family are often shaped early on – by observing their parents’ behaviours and attitudes.

According to the research, workers often fall into four categories:
