Apple employee fired after daughter's mistake

An Apple engineer has reportedly been fired after his daughter posted a YouTube video of the unreleased Iphone X from the company headquarters.

Brooke Amelia Peterson uploaded YouTube footage that went viral before Friday’s launch of the 10th anniversary smartphone.

Although Peterson deleted the footage, at Apple’s request, she then posted a new video that said her “honest, wonderful” father had lost his job as a result.

In the second video, a tearful Ms Peterson said she was upset by the hurtful responses and insisted she had made an innocent mistake.
