Apple employee fired after daughter's mistake

An Apple engineer has reportedly been fired after his daughter posted a YouTube video of the unreleased Iphone X from the company headquarters.

Brooke Amelia Peterson uploaded YouTube footage that went viral before Friday’s launch of the 10^th anniversary smartphone.

Although Peterson deleted the footage, at Apple’s request, she then posted a new video that said her “honest, wonderful” father had lost his job as a result.

In the second video, a tearful Ms Peterson said she was upset by the hurtful responses and insisted she had made an innocent mistake.
