Celebrity chef accused of creating toxic work environment

A celebrity chef has been accused of creating a male dominated work culture in which women were harassed, groped, humiliated and mocked on a daily basis – Daily Mail reports

John Besh, who owns a string of bars and restaurants and has starred in NCIS, as well as a HBO show, is accused of overseeing a bro culture where he and the co-owner “hit on basically every woman in the office”.

Some of the accusations came in an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filing from last December from a former employee who claimed her boss started an 'unwanted' sexual relationship with her.

On one work trip, a former employee argues that her boss ‘insisted’ she drank a lot of alcohol. When she retired to her hotel room, she claims he appeared at her room door and started to initiate sexual activity. The ex-employee also claims that when she attempted to end the sexual relationship with Besh he asked her “to help him find her replacement”.
