In today’s world of work, culture is everything. Employees are systematically more likely to stay longer with a firm if they have a positive and inclusive workplace culture. It could be the happy and helpful management style, the freedom to work on personal tasks or even the autonomous layout – some companies have a culture to die for.
Glassdoor recently revealed a list of the 20 companies with the best workplace culture. After ranking 33million reviews of 700,000 companies, the internal ranking from Chartered Management Institute also took into consideration leadership and values.
The result was an inclusive list of the 20 best business in Britain for culture.
Joe Wiggins, Head of Communications at Glassdoor, said: “Today’s employees and job candidates are more informed than ever before thanks to transparency and more company information available online. Organisations that have a strong culture will attract the best people, and in turn this will lead to stronger financial performance.”
