In our fast-paced, always connected working lives, it can be a struggle to find time for personal development. In fact, tight schedules are affecting us so much so, that the average worker takes just 27 minutes for lunch.
One profession – tasked with helping staff to better manage their work time – is HR. However, they too bare the brunt of demanding hours and crammed calendars, making it difficult to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and management trends.
Often turned to when there is an issue that can’t be solved with the old ‘turn it off and on again’, HR has to draw on a bank of knowledge to deal with often complex and personal issues.
