Career Directed Solutions appointed new Regional Director

Career Directed Solutions (CDS) have announced the appointment of a new Regional Director. Matthew Taylor joins CDS in a business development role as Regional Director based in the South. Having specialised in the "career space" for the last 20 years, Taylor has supported some of the world's best-known brands with major re-organisation, M&A, downsizing and change programmes.

Steve Thompson-Martyn, MD of CDS, commented on the new hire: “We are entering an exciting new era at CDS, with plans to grow our business. Matthew’s appointment is at the forefront of helping us to make this happen, with an impressive career spanning 20 years in our industry and we look forward to having his knowledge and expertise on board.”

Taylor himself also expressed his excitement at his new role: “I am delighted to have joined the team at CDS.  After 10 years with one of the largest global consulting career firms, I have become increasingly concerned that critical client and coach interactions have been driven online – I firmly believe that nothing can replace a quality and personalised relationship between a coach and coachee.

“I am so impressed that CDS focuses on quality, face-to-face interactions with our clients – from Transition Coaching, Onboarding and Outplacement.  One of my goals is to develop business networks in the South to enhance our services, generate great business relationships and improve our offering to clients.”
