Candidate who cried in interview shares his shocking success story

You might be forgiven for thinking that a candidate bursting into tears in the middle of an interview is a sure-fire sign that they are not landing the job. However, one applicant from Australia recently proved that showing your emotions to recruiters can actually result in a happy conclusion.

Boon Cotter, a Lighting Artist from Australia, flew around the world to California to interview for his dream job at Naughty Dog games company. He explained on Twitter how he’d always wanted to work for the firm, and that he was desperate to land the job – so much so that he was incredibly nervous. 

I had just flown halfway around the world, my first time out of Australia, and it was to interview for a job I KNEW I wouldn't get. 2/x
