Desktop of the Pops: What are Britain's workers listening to?

With increasing numbers of workers listening to music at work – to help motivate them, concentrate and block out office noise – LinkedIn and Spotify have created a survey to find out what Britain is bopping to as they knuckle down. 

As over seven in ten workers think that bopping along to tunes at work helps make them better at their jobs, there must be a specific artist that really inspires the best in the workplace. 

And, as those surveyed believe that music helps them drown out the sound of annoying co-workers, keeping them calm and inspiring greater creativity, employers probably owe a big thank you to the producer, popstar or artist. Darain Faraz, Career's Expert, LinkedIn explained that their joint-Spotify survey illuminated what UK's workforce really thought about playing music at work. 

He said: "Ultimately, how we behave in the workplace plays a huge role in developing our professional brand so it’s important to remember what you want to communicate about yourself to others, whether that’s online or offline.
