BACKLASH: Boss sacks long-time employee via TripAdvisor

The boss of a well-regarded pub has been slammed after his wife used TripAdvisor to fire a long-time employee from the gastro taproom – Daily Mail reports.

Howard Spooner, a friend of Prince Harry, has received condemnation after his wife, Lucy, sacked service staffer, Rosie Lampard on TripAdvisor, in response to negative reviews for their gastro pub The Outside Chance.

Ms Lampard, who had worked at the pub since 2008, and whose husband Nick trained the racehorse whose winnings helped purchase the pub, was dismissed in response to comments about the waiting staff.

One review read: “Nobody took the interest to inquire whether we would like any further drinks or tea, coffee, cheeseboard or liqueurs when we had finished our meal.
