£100m NHS windfall for rec firms

The NHS’ staffing crisis, coupled with Jeremy Hunt’s promise of a seven-day week healthcare service, is set to land recruitment agencies £100m as they are tasked with finding desperately needed staff – Financial Times reports.

News of this recruitment windfall comes as Hunt seeks to find 5,000 extra doctors. Recruitment agencies that win the contracts to find staff are set to pocket £20,000 per GP.
