Employee claims discrimination after 'being fired' for bathroom usage

An employee of PR firm Wise Public Relations is claiming she was sacked on discriminatory grounds for complaining about restrictions on her bathroom usage.

Court documents filed at the Manhattan Supreme Court said NYC PR worker, Tracy Boudine, 50, was “teased about her need to use the bathroom, and in particular, her need – as a woman – to use toilet paper more frequently when she did use the restroom.”

The documents state that bosses “went so far as to impose a limit on how much toilet paper Ms Boudine could use.”

The court documents added that she was “subjected to discriminatory treatment and harassment on the basis of her gender,” with Boudine, the only woman in the firm’s leadership team during her tenure at the firm, claiming she was denied certain accounts and had to work ‘twice as hard’ as male colleagues - The Express reports.
