For workers who enjoy a mid-week night out and reset the rules – without regard for decent, sober sleep – there’s one firm that’s shifting the goalposts when it comes to hangover ‘sick’ days – Metro reports.
At some point during their career, a decent proportion of UK workers will find themselves waking up on a weekday morning with an army of tiny ninjas practising nun-chuks in the most sensitive areas of their skull. Ninjas that have been geared on overpriced beer and not-so-small glasses of wine from the previous evening. As a result, one or two ‘sick’ days have occurred.
However, Dice, a ticketing and music-discovery app, are allowing workers to shun throwing ‘sickies’ for hangover days.
What’s more, all the worker has to do is send a ‘music’, ‘beer’ and ‘sick’ emoji to their boss. It will then go down as having a hangover day.
