Last week, nine-year-old Jack Davis’ application touched hearts, and social media feeds the world over, when he applied for the position of Planetary Protection Officer as advertised by NASA.
Although the wannabe Guardian of the Galaxy doesn’t yet have the prerequisite skills for The North American Space Agency’s £144,000-a-year job – and is likely to be unsuccessful in his endeavour - he has landed himself another role.
