With Silicon Valley at the centre of countless HR scandals, a sensible person would assume that tech firm executives would be distracted by attempts to overhaul their corporate culture – not pretending to be female employees and falsely accusing rival executives of sexual harassment.
However, this is exactly what Brandon Hill, Founder of Btrax, has been accused of by the CEO of a rival business: Fenox Venture Capital. Both are tech sector marketing agencies.
The Guardian reports that within a filed complaint by Anis Uzzaman, CEO of Fenox Venture Capital, the prominent tech investor lays out how Hill posted a fake blogpost claiming sexual harassment.
Uzzaman asserts that Hill wrote an online account purporting to be an unnamed woman who was “sexually taken advantage of” by the CEO at Fenox.
