Anonymous employer-review site Glassdoor is currently fighting a legal summons to unveil over 100 people who reviewed a company involved in a potential fraud case.
The company in question, who cannot be named, is under investigation for potential fraud related to contracting practises and the US government want the details of 125 Glassdoor reviewers who left comments about the firm.
The case, which will be heard in an appeals court, will decide whether the US government can force Glassdoor to reveal information about the anonymous reviewers.
At the time of publication, Glassdoor was being asked to reveal the IP addresses, email addresses, billing information, names, credit card information, payment information and contact information of those that posted - including the time, data and location of posts.
