A former Emirates flight attendant claims she was sacked for falling down a flight of stairs at work, whilst wearing the airline uniform’s red high heels.
Just days before Ciara Burke, 23, from Perth, Western Australia was set to graduate as a full flight attendant, she fell and injured her back and ankle, leaving her unable to complete her training at the Emirates training college in Dubai.
Recovering in a moon boot, Burke alleges that she was told by the airline that the accident would influence whether she made it through her six-month probation period.
She claims she was subsequently fired after taking time off to recover.
