Two-thirds (60%) of UK employees spend at least half a day every week on unnecessary office tasks – amounting to 441,827,088 days a year.
And with Britain’s productivity lagging, with UK workers taking five days to produce what French, German and US counterparts do in four, according to comparisons published by the Office for National Statistics, what exactly is eating away at our time?
The research, commissioned by Red Letter Days For Business found that workers are wasting time on mundane office tasks, including replying to emails, attending pointless meetings or completing admin.
