UK employees might not be happy, or that satisfied, but they are pretty chilled, according to a new study by recruitment specialist Robert Half.
In their recent study in collaboration with wellbeing expert Nic Marks, the firm evaluated the levels of employee happiness across Europe, North America and Australia.
Workers in the United States were, on average, found to be the happiest with their current work, which Phil Sheridan, Senior Managing Director, Robert Half, attributes to high levels of engagement.
He said: “Employee happiness is closely connected to organisational productivity and innovation. Happy employees are typically more engaged and driven to succeed, creating a positive and high performing work environment.
