There are a lot of frustrations in the workplace: colleagues’ inability to tidy up after themselves in the kitchen; cuts to benefits; and, the underlying anxiety that we’ll be looking at the same computer screen until we’re 70, or 80, or even 90!
Surely, one way to make the long slog more bearable is to get rid of corporate catch-phrases such as: ‘No ‘I’ in team’; ‘singing from the same hymn sheet’; and ‘low hanging fruit.’
