The card game that could solve workplace conflict

Gamification is increasingly becoming a component in every element of HR practice. The latest area this has entered is conflict resolution.   

Questions & Empathy, by advertising and marketing firm Sub Rosa, aims to resolve workplace conflicts by getting staff to reflect on who they are and how they can be better – for themselves and others.

The deck, inspired by tarot cards, has 49 question cards and seven ‘empathic archetypes’: Sage, Inquirer, Convener, Alchemist, Confident, Seeker and Cultivator. There are questions for each archetype which are designed to force participants to leave their comfort zone and have honest, open conversations.
