Worker claims she was 'pimped out' to bag £25m client

A banker has lodged complaints against her former employer, alleging that she was “pimped out” in order to secure a £25million account.

Suemaya Gerrard was a Relationship Manager at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. She has claimed that her boss, Chief Administrative Officer Jawdat Jawdat, placed pressure on her to go to dinner with the client, threatening to fire her if she refused – The Sun reports.

She confided in a colleague, who later told her that Jawdat was “acting like your pimp”. After failing to log a formal complaint, Gerrard left the bank and is currently suing for £80,000.

In her witness statement, she described the events: “This gentleman made it clear that he was attracted to me.
