New research has found that office workers are likely to come across an in-house ‘Batman’ at least once in their career.
This crime fighting crusader is likely to be lurking near the kitchen area, or by your desk, hoping to dob you in for breaches of company policy or moral vacillations – and whisk you away for questioning in their underground vigilante’s lair.
(Okay, so we’re joking about the last part. They’re more likely to tattle on you to line managers and senior staff.)
Yet, the Canadian-overseen research, taken from the responses of 2,000 office workers, has found 58% of staff have worked alongside someone who considers themselves the self-appointed company sleuth.
