Firm at centre of row over bizarre alleged squid-related forfeit

Claims management company Central Claims Group is at the centre of a bizarre dispute over a squid-related forfeit.

The incident was originally reported in the Manchester Evening News (MEN) and has since been labelled by them to The Times as a “misinformed article” and “not a reflection of the events that took place or of the business as a whole” that has resulted in the firm “seeking legal action against the MEN”.

So they took a live animal from its habitat & used it for fun. Mmm. Do these people holiday on dolphin beaches as well?! What a jolly group of chaps they must be.

I don't have objections to fun forfeits at work, as long as people aren’t being bullied into something, but... poor squid. Animals should never be involved in work related high-jinx. I hope the squid’s welfare was considered.
