Competitive salaries, large bonuses and inflated pay packets – certain companies are more forthcoming with their profits than others. And when employees get the chance to work with these monetary magicians, they’re far less likely to get wandering eyes.
Glassdoor recently ranked the 10 highest paying companies in the UK, by looking at data submitted by employees in the UK over the past year – with the companies only being eligible for entry if they received over 30 voluntary staff submissions.
The Independent reports that Glassdoor found that the ten highest paying UK firms gave employees a median salary of between £80,000 and £110,000, at a base wage of £70,000 to £83,400.
Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor’s Chief Economist, commented on the findings: “This report shows that the big guns in tech and finance still dominate when it comes to large salaries in the UK. Companies like Salesforce, Facebook and SAP are all fighting for the best talent and they are prepared to pay top dollar to get it.
