L&D struggles to show its worth DESPITE attempts to modernise

A new study from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) and Oxygen Learning has highlighted that firms with diverse training methods come out top.

However, HR and L&D departments still struggle to highlight their worth to corporate-minded CEOs and risk being outsourced.

These risks come despite 61% of Learning and Development providers responding to changing workplace conditions by improving the structure and operation of their departments.

The HCI and Oxygen study also highlights that with well-implemented development programmes, that are easily accessible, allow workers and managers to solve their own problems up to 70% of the time.
