Fox News employees file lawsuit against networks' 'hostile racial discrimination'

Following allegations that bosses at Fox News forced black employees to arm-wrestle white colleagues for entertainment, further claims have emerged, with eleven current and former Fox News employees filing a class-action lawsuit.

The employees have accused the network of “abhorrent, intolerable, unlawful and hostile racial discrimination,” claiming that bosses were “more akin to Plantation-style management than a modern-day work environment.”

Less than a week after news host Bill O'Reilly was dismissed following allegations of sexual harassment, claims that top executives including Judith Slater (who was fired in February) Roger Ailes and Mark Kranz were racist towards black employees for years, have resurfaced.

According to the suit, which was filed in New York, Slater, who was behind the arm-wrestling demands, mocked how black employees pronounced words like 'ask' and 'mother' and asked some black employees, 'Who is going to Africa?' after President Trump’s travel ban.
