Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos earned less than THIS employee

The head of Amazon’s most profitable and fastest growing division, Andrew Jassy, received the highest salary in 2016, exceeding the compensation of the six executives that have to publicly disclose pay – including CEO Jeff Bezos.

The CEO of Amazon’s Web Service, took home $35.61million (£27.92million) in 2016 which breaks down as $35.4 million in stock and around $179,000 in salary and a 401(k) match, according to a regulatory filing.

According to the filing, and as reported in CNBC, Jassy’s paycheck exceeded:

Chief Executive, Jeff Bezos: $1.7million
