Junior staff MOST unhappy, report finds

Junior staff are the least happy in the workplace with many companies still failing on wellbeing, privacy and flexible working provisions, according to a new report.

The 2,000-worker survey, compiled by OfficeGenie and OnePoll, found that junior workers are a full 25% unhappier than business owners.

Speaking exclusively to HR Grapevine, Ciaron Dunne, CEO of OfficeGenie and Genie Ventures, explained that many staff in the UK do not feel adequately supported by their employers.

He added: “We’d urge employers to consider their treatment of junior staff and to evaluate the support structures they have in place for those with mental health issues, and more widely, all member of staff."
