With the prospect of retirement edging further and further away, nine-to-five becoming more like 24/7 and inequalities still rife in the workplace – who wouldn’t hand in their resignation now?
Putting things into perspective, the majority of us would need to win the lottery to finally swap the daily commute for a one-way ticket to Barbados. Sigh.
But how much would it take for the average Brit to win to feasibly quit working for the rest of their lives?
A recent survey conducted by YouGov found that it would take a jackpot of more than £2million for the working Brit to hand in their notice – Wales Online reports.
