The recent Talent Shortage Survey has highlighted long-held concerns about the “skills gap” problem: employer’s struggle to find employees with the right skills for the right roles.
Taking data from 41,700 hiring managers in 42 countries, the survey revealed that 38% of participating employers said they had difficulties filling jobs.
However, with roles constantly evolving and companies transforming at faster rates than ever before, a survey from Gallup found that only 50% of workers knew exactly what was expected of them at work.
Jason Schwartz, CEO and Co-Founder of General Assembly, believes that today’s changeable workplace is one of the central factors in the skills-gap problem – Entrepreneur reports.
