Quarter of young mothers face 'shocking' job discrimination

There’s a plethora of discriminatory acts being committed against young, pregnant women in the workplace, according to a new report.

The survey, from The Young Women’s Trust, found that two in five mothers, aged 16 to 24, were quizzed about their ability to manage both their work life and their children. Of the 300 mothers who were polled, most of them agreed that employers’ attitudes toward them played an important role in their job search.
