‘Wellbeing at work’ and ‘work-life balance’ may just seem like buzzwords for employees who don’t experience those privileges in their jobs.
Clearly, such was the case for this one boss who was desperate for a little respite.
Leaving a note for his employees on the stock room door of the shop, the employer, only known as D, hilariously warned his staff to refrain from contacting him whilst he’s holidaying in Mexico - The Express reports.
An employee posted an image of the note on Reddit, which read (all in capital letters): “Picture this scene: me standing on a balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico – the sugar sand beaches, cup of coffee in my hand and the sun on my face. My wife lounges in a patio chair leisurely reading a book.
