UK sees world's fourth-biggest spike in jobseekers

There’s no easing back into work following the Christmas break for recruiters, as Britain posted the world’s fourth-biggest spike in the number of UK January jobseekers.

Data from Indeed reveals that the number of jobseekers increased by 63.6%, compared with the same period in 2016 - following closely behind were the Netherlands (63.7%), Ireland (66.6%) and France (71.8%).
