Workplace gender discrimination has received recent media scrutiny: Piers Morgan and Ewan McGregor became embroiled in a public spat; Zambia was revealed to allow days off for period pain; and sexist dresscodes were, quite publically, dressed down.
Now pressure for better gender parity are focusing in on Doctor Who, with Harriet Harman backing calls for the next iteration of the timelord to be female.
