A lawsuit filed at the Superior Court of California, US, has Tesla Motors accusing former their Autopilot Director, Sterling Anderson, of taking company information and using it in another venture – Business Insider reports.
Anderson served as Director of Tesla’s Autopilot programmes from November 2015 to December 2016. The suit alleges that he violated his company contract by trying to recruit several Tesla engineers to work on his venture, Aurora Innovation, while he was still employed with the firm.

The suit goes on to claim that Anderson teamed up with Chris Urmson, former Head of Google’s ‘self-driving car project’, to launch the competitive firm.
