The programme incorporated sector-specific round-table discussions and breakout sessions covering product evolution – including the use of Crown’s new ‘Manager Client’ product, added value learning opportunities such as apprenticeship levy, employment law and analytics updates, along with profession-focused forums and panels for HR and business leaders.
Keynote speaker Nick Court, of Cloud9, demonstrated the impact of employee engagement and wellbeing on individual, team and organisational productivity, and explored how data and analytics can play its part in contributing to improvement strategies.
Those attending were able to use Crown’s new interactive mobile conference app to take part in polls which examined issues such as the measurement of engagement within organisations.
The event also marked Crown’s 30th anniversary year and its history was shared with the audience with an animated timeline presentation and sign-off from Managing Director Mike Hawkesford.
He said: “It’s a rare thing for a specialist software company to reach the heady age of 30. We have moved with the times, developed our products on different platforms and extended our scope and functionality to meet the requirements and desires of our customers. All this has been instrumental in our longevity and success.”
