Half of employees advocate IT tracking for remote working

Over half of employees support the use of IT systems to track and measure activity during remote working, new research has shown.

And while senior management are in favour of remote working, their workers believe that they will require specific training to adapt to the evolving workplace.

80% of workers believe that their senior management support the idea. 68% also believe that their managers will require specific training to manage remote workers.

Speaking to HR Grapevine, Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, who conducted the survey, discusses the benefits that managers can gain from training: “Undoubtedly, managers will benefit from additional training on managing remote workers, which can allow them to gain insights into a wide range of important issues.
