A new trend which has been labelled ‘benefits maxxing’ by Employment Hero reflects a shift in employee attitudes as they choose job opportunities based on a comprehensive benefits packages coupled with salary.

This has been reflected in the UK as a growing number of workers are deciding on career opportunities based on the entire rewards package. This is a result of UK wage growth failing to keep up with the cost of living as employers face increasing budgetary pressures. As employee motivations adapt to economic conditions, employee benefits are now required to contribute more to reward package negotiations.
