What do you think is the key to being a successful in your role?
With any senior role, being business led and focused is key to success. Context is always king – just because something worked in the past doesn’t mean you can simply do the same thing again. You must understand your business, and its unique challenges, in order to add value.
It’s also important to get the balance right between technical ‘perfectionism’ and the reality of working in a fast paced business that needs to change. Being pragmatic is really important.
