
The Government’s Fit for Work programme is not ready to replace the occupational health services many employers currently provide.
That’s according to Elliott Hurst, Director of Health Consulting at AXA PPP healthcare, who says that while the programme will be useful to some employers, their own health benefits will often offer a more comprehensive and tailored approach to staff health needs.
Fit for Work comprises of two key elements – advice and assessment. Advice from Fit for Work is accessible online or via the telephone and is designed to help employers with information on how health and the workplace interact.
