Agility in business is as integral to strategic success as morale is to staff retention. It’s survival of the fittest, an evolve or die situation that leaders have to grapple with each day.

Speaking to Tod Nielsen, the newly appointed President and CEO of FinancialForce, at Community Live 2017, he explained just how integral flexibility is within a tech-grounded company.

“The world is changing fast,” he said. “I still can’t believe that in ten years we’ll be living in a world where self-driving cars are more common than manual ones. And it’s measuring these evolutions, learning how to adapt and grow alongside them, that makes the difference between a company that will survive and one that won’t.

“And FinancialForce is an example of the former. It’s my aim now to grow this company into something more than we see today. In terms of company culture, we’re already riding high. When I joined FinancialForce, I was struck by the sense of family here, where work and life came together seamlessly.”
