How has the candidate sourcing landscape changed in the last year?

This year’s UK Candidate Attraction Survey is now open to once again ask recruitment professionals about the sourcing channels they use to attract candidates and the level of success achieved. The findings will report on the most popular advertising and sourcing channels used, and which ones are performing best in each industry and sector.

The survey is open to all In-House Recruiters, Talent Acquisition Specialists, HR Partners and Recruitment Consultants, with over 850 taking part in 2018 and thousands more downloading the final report.

We present key findings in easy-to-digest ‘Sourcing Quadrants’ that provide an at-a-glance ranking of channels - including Employee referrals, Social Media, Job Boards and Career sites. The quadrants help you to compare channels from both candidate volume and candidate quality.

The report also shares top sourcing challenges; looks at responsibility for sourcing candidates and identifies the typical sourcing workflow. The 2018 findings, as shown below, indicates distinct differences in how in-house and agency recruiters approach candidate attraction.
