Email overload affects productivity of staff

Business users receive an average of 121 emails a day and this number is set to rise to 140 by 2018, according to a report by the Radicati Group.

The report reveals that a significant amount of the working day is now spent reading and responding to messages due to the burdensome and time-consuming reality of such high email volumes which is clearly taking its toll.

This has led to a growing concern that the inbox over-spill may be already affecting employee productivity and morale.
