The BBC last night announced they have replaced high-maintenence Jeremy Clarkson with the 'reformed' Chris Evans as presenter of Top Gear.
Both men are undisputably top performers, but each have their own 'baggage'. Clarkson, who was sacked earlier this year for assaulting a producer, has been replaced as Top Gear host by Evans, who once refused to apologise to management after taking his entire crew on a 17-hour pub crawl that ended two hours before they were scheduled to broadcast on Radio One.
“The very personality traits that enable someone to rise to the top of their game - such as intelligence, independence, confidence and determination - are the same traits that can cause them to constantly brush people up the wrong way,” says Susy Roberts, Managing Director of Hunter Roberts.
