50% of Britain's have received ungrateful behaviour at work

Common courtesy appears to be dropping in the UK as 50% of Britain’s workers believe they have been on the receiving end of ungrateful behaviour at work, according to a new report compiled by University of Birmingham’s Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues.

The report also revealed that the majority of people in Britain believe that gratitude is becoming a forgotten virtue, with 80% claiming that there is not enough gratitude demonstrated in British society.

In addition, the study found that 74% of the British public would like to see gratitude in the form of gratefulness or appreciation and it's expression promoted more in the workplace.
