Heat Check | Roberta Duarte to re-join Maersk as CPO following Werfen tenure

Roberta Duarte, currently Chief People Officer for global medical tech company Werfen, has been announced as the incoming Chief People Officer for Maersk.

Duarte is due to take on the role effective 1 November 2026; she will also join Executive Leadership Team.

Duarte had previously held several senior people leadership roles within Maersk across APAC, LATAM, and Ocean & Logistics between 2012 and 2024.

Prior to her first tenure with Maersk, Roberta Duarte worked with Citibank as both a Senior HR Generalist, and across its risk, compliance, PAO and legal functions.
